The Warrens – The underground home of the gru’Esh. The Warrens stretch from the Mountains of Du Garrah in the east down through the Korrahl Forest in the south and even under some of the Plains of the Daevyn.

Whiim – A female Aru Faylen lobbyist with a keen mind working her way up the political hierarchy of the Elders.

The Wildwood – Name given to the jungle that now covers the western Plains.
Wilhelm – An Auctor at the Academy. Wilhelm specialises in the study of toxins. (See also Auctor and Academy)
Willow Morten – A Breaker (Razer) in Hunter’s Clash from Australia, 1976.
Wingspeak – A secret physical language developed by the Aru Elen after their tongues were removed by the Aru Faylen. It involves a staccato fluttering of the wings.
Wrem – An Aru Faylen Delevate, who took over after the death of Delevate Throm. He is given the task of collecting Breakers for Yriel Sparkcatcher’s cause.
Wymus – A mute Aru Elen bandit who joins the Daevyn.
