Faen – One of the three seasons of Tranthaea. Warm and dry, like summer. It lasts roughly seven Earth-months. (See also Seasons)
Fanvalor – The capital city of Nea Verden. It sits on a wide delta surrounded by a high ridge of cliffs that pour waterfalls towards the ocean, and is mostly wood and stone buildings atop a lattice of canals and bridges, all of which rest on a patchwork of reservoirs. The word "Fanvalor" is a corruption of the Danish "vandfald," which means "waterfall."

Fireboots – A pair of boots created as a calling card that would burn footprints into the ground.
Firedart – (See Dart & Buckler)
First Breaker – The title chosen by Yriel Sparkcatcher as she leads her army of Breakers.
First Consul – The democratically elected leader of the Daevyn people.
The First Flame-Bearer – A Human who arrived in Tranthaea 500 years before the events of The Keep Chronicles and battled the Dyadem. He created the Daevyn and built Yshaar. (See also Gabriel Sorensen)
The First Flame-Bearer's Firedart – This weapon is a symbol of the right to rule for the First Flame-Bearer's bloodline and has been kept in the Hall of Record since his death.
First Quencher – Leader of the Daevyn military.
Flame-Bearer – Monarch of the Daevyn people. This position is passed down by bloodline.
Fletcher Durning – A fisherman who lost his village and wife to a hurricane and was shipwrecked on an island in the Allodapic Ocean. Father to Kellyn Durning. (See also Kellyn Durning)
Flopheart – Dainty underwater creatures, with long, trailing fins that make a tangled mess when it flops around on a fisherman’s boat.
Fnark – A small, shelled animal of the southern forests. This bristly creature tunnels slowly through the dirt, mining it of any nutrients. Spicy when roasted.
fo'Renj – A gru'Esh of the je'Esh clan. One of two neighbours involved in a land dispute.
Freom – An Aru Faylen High Elder. (See also High Elder)
