Halil Demirci – A Breaker (Cyclonist) in Yriel Sparkcatcher's army, from Turkey in 1993.
Hall of Record – A room within the Keep of Yshaar where hang the tapestries that detail the history of the Daevyn. Also the home of the First Flame-Bearer's Dart & Buckler set.
Haruki Tanaka – A Breaker (Cascader) in Hunter’s Clash, Haruki is from Japan in 1333.
Henry Mattison – A boy who leads a gang in the Yukon Territory in 2018.
Hiari White – A 15-year-old Human girl from 2013. Hiari is Kenyan. She is the illegitimate daughter of a wealthy Dutch businessman and a local woman from the slums of Kibera on the edge of Nairobi. She becomes Avira, a Sky Keeper of Tranthaea. (See also Avira)
High Elder – The leader of the Aru Faylen Elders. (See also The Elders)
Hive Consulate – An enormous mound of sculpted dirt that serves as an embassy for the gru’Esh in Yshaar.
Hobnar – A Valang Loyalist agent. (See also Loyalism)
Hollimelons – A Tranthaean fruit. A rare delicacy, hollimelons are much desired and often fought over.
Hooded Hall – The prison block in Yshaar's Keep, named so because anyone walking down it was more than likely to be an executioner.
Human – A species that is not native to Tranthaea, but whose members are often brought to the world in times of crisis. Many Keepers have been Human, though not all. And not all Humans have become Keepers.
Hunter Wells – A 16-year-old Human boy from Los Angeles in 2012. He is witness to Jingwei’s summons to Tranthaea and then is brought there himself, where he plays an important role in events.
Huon Arrahl – A wise and peaceful creature of the southern forests, Huon Arrahl is the oldest living thing in Tranthaea. Its many bodies are actually trees and it makes up much of the Korrahl Forest itself. The trees are grey and straight, with peeling bark and dark green leaves. Huon Arrahl’s main body is to the south. Tall and lush, its bottom third is draped with silver tendrils, through which it can communicate with outsiders.
Hurm – An Aru Faylen Elder. He is the Head of the Restorer's Council.
