ab'Torm – A gru'Esh of the po'Esh clan. Obsequious and sly, it is an officer in the forces of the Lord Dauld.
Adra – A Soil Keeper of Tranthaea. (See also Aiden Swift)
Aiden Swift – A 15-year-old boy from 1912. Son of Callum Swift. He becomes Adra, Soil Keeper of Tranthaea. (See also Adra)
Alkira – The Aru Elen daughter of the First Flame-Bearer and sister of a Spark Keeper, Kala. She becomes a Sky Keeper of Tranthaea.
al'Pargh – A gru'Esh Omnead cleric. It is the highest ranking of Tosh's Omnead.
Ambassador – The title given to the three representatives of the gru'Esh, Arulion, and Daevyn who sit on the Council of Tranthaea. The current Ambassadors are jo'Pruk, Nyx, and Ydwin Greysoot, respectively.
Amulets – Two medallions worn by the Dyadem and used to rule Tranthaea. (See also Caradul and Peladar)
Ancil – The title given to a cleric of the Omnead. (see also Omnead)
an’Esh – The second tribe of the gru’Esh nation. These gru’Esh are red in colour. (See also gru’Esh)
Antigone – A border collie belonging to Gabriel Sorensen. Antigone is a registered service dog. When LARPing, she plays the character of Slayer the Hell-Hound. (See also LARP)
Antyx – The first free-born Aru Elen in centuries. The daughter of Treitus and Tyx.
Archives – A collection of writings brought together by the Tranthaean Council for research purposes. The collection is curated by Yrving Kindleflash.
Aridium – A desert plant filled with a clear liquid that, when mixed with certain herbs and minerals, will turn blue after a few minutes in the hot desert air.
The Armoury – A section of the Keep in Yshaar where the Quenchers and City Sentinels train. It houses training grounds and raeas stables.
Arrestors – Arulion weapons used in flight. Arrestors are blobs of hardened, green jelly that are thrown and then explode on impact, gumming up the flying mechanisms of their enemies.
Aru Elen – A species of winged humanoids with scaled backs. Though they were once valued members of the Aru Len, they were eventually enslaved by the Aru Faylen. Aru Elen means Servants of the Sky. During the Battle of Barricade they broke free and renamed themselves the Arulion. (See also Aru Len, Arulion)
Aru Faylen – A species of propeller-driven creatures with lumpy bodies beneath bone-like blades. Their rotors are dotted with holes that open to allow the Aru Faylen to see, breathe, and speak. They ruled over their slaves, the Aru Elen. Their name, Aru Faylen, means Masters of the Sky. (See also Aru Len)
Aru Len – Aru Len means the People of the Sky. The Aru Len was a coalition between the Aru Faylen and the Aru Elen. Over time, the Aru Faylen forced the Aru Elen into slavery and the coalition was dissolved.
Arulion – The once-Aru Elen changed their name to the Arulion. The name has no meaning, except that the Arulion were able to choose it for themselves. (See also Aru Elen)
Ascender – A pulley-driven lift that runs in the Keep of Yshaar. Also the title of the person who runs the lift.
The Assembly – The village council of a Daevyn village in the far southern forests.
Auracle – One of the Four Great Powers, an Auracle can often hear important moments from the past or future. It is a rare gift.
Avery Madison – A friend of Gabriel Sorensen from the Yukon Territory in 2018. When LARPing, she plays the character of the Barbarian Princess Maratong the Invincible. (See also LARP)
Avia – An Aru Elen title, indicating a female of royal descent, not unlike a princess.
Avira – A Sky Keeper of Tranthaea. (See also Hiari White)
