Nadir – An inhabitant of Sanctuary. (See also Sanctuary)
Nadira Chakraborty – A  16-year-old Breaker (Cyclonist ) from India, 1993.
Naida – A po'Esh gru'Esh Sea Keeper of Tranthaea. Master to Daniel Martin, who takes her place as  Jera.
Nalani – (See Sea of Nalani)
Nanora – One of the three seasons of Tranthaea. Nanora is snowy, bitterly cold, and lasts roughly five Earth-months. (See also Seasons)
Navorias Root – a wispy-looking root ball common in the Plains. Though it looks easily broken, it is actually quite strong and can be used to make good rope.
Nelius – A pirate who sails under the flag of Captain Renārs Valdis, captain of the Carrion Ghost.
New Pompeii – A city far to the north of Fanvalor. The home of House Chiliad. Not much is known about it.
New York, USA – The home of Callum Swift & Aiden Swift.
Nexus – A communication device. The nexus is a small pillar of yellow stone (about 60 cm tall) with engravings carved all over it. When the correct engravings are traced with a finger, the stone crumbles into sand and then reforms into the face of the person with the matching nexus.
Niamh – An inhabitant of Sanctuary. (See also Sanctuary)
Night Haven – A bandit stronghold in the southern forests.
n'Ikozh – A gru'Esh of the an'Esh clan.  It is awkward, short for its species, and a little bulky, but a brilliant inventor. It becomes friends with Gabriel Sorensen and also goes by "Niko."
Norrighal – A multi-layered Madrian game. It can be best described to Humans as combining elements of chess, checkers, Risk, and battleship, among others. It includes pieces such as the taarmin and the gerghin. (See also Gerghin and Taarmin)
Noryx – An Aru Elen seamstress.
Nosstar – A Severant Third Order in the Valang military and guide and assistant to Governor Ylesha Evertorch during the Unification Summit. (See also Severant)
​Nua Verden – A continent to the north of Tranthaea, across the Sea of Nalani. It has been settled by the Terrian Confederacy.
Nyx – The Arulion Ambassador to the Tranthaean Council. She fought in the Battle of Barricade and is one of the many Arulion to have had her tongue removed at birth.
